I’ve noticed that I’ve always been a person who lives on expectations. I like to plan and I can get wrapped up in controlling my environment. However, I keep learning the same lesson over and over again- life rarely meets my expectations. It’s not that I’m let down repeatedly. It’s more that I often get thrown a curve ball and I have to adjust my whole plan because something was out of my control. And even though the lesson has to be repeated, I do take away a little bit from that lesson every time. The only constant in life is change. And there is very little that we can actually control in this world. So, in conclusion, I just need to keep learning every day to let it all go a little more and more.
