What is early? For many, early means “not ready.” For me it’s a time of peace and contemplation. I love getting up “early” in the morning to have some time to spend with myself. It really sets the mood for the whole rest of my day.

Is Life Ever as We Expect It?
I’ve noticed that I’ve always been a person who lives on expectations. I like to plan and I can get wrapped up in controlling my environment. However, I keep learning the same lesson over and over again- life rarely meets my expectations. It’s not that I’m let down repeatedly. It’s more that I often getContinueContinue reading “Is Life Ever as We Expect It?”
2018, a new chapter, maybe…
Hi. I’ve been absent. Again. I just read through the last 5 blog posts that I wrote. Many of which, talk about how busy I’ve been and how I’d like to make more of an effort, Blah, Blah, Blah. It makes me laugh a little because I’m repeating myself. It, also, makes me take aContinueContinue reading “2018, a new chapter, maybe…”

Adventure
You never know when you will breathe your last breath. You never know when a new chapter will begin in life. And you never know that today is the day. I share my adventure every day with this little one and I never knew I could be this grateful.

I get disgruntled by the lack of time. I need to appreciate the moments I have, the compliments I receiveContinueContinue reading “Seasons “
Instagram and “social media”
I have to admit that I can get sucked into the “social media” world as much as anyone for hours at a time. But I have to find it more ironic than entertaining. It’s a place where I can stalk my friends and family and come up with ideas for social commentary. It’s a placeContinueContinue reading “Instagram and “social media””
Disappearance and life
I had to disappear for awhile from my creative life. It was difficult and sometimes heart wrenching. But I knew I would come back to it’s flowing embrace, with waves of ideas. I never quit on doing creative things, I just had to adjust my focus for some time. I had to let a fewContinueContinue reading “Disappearance and life”
Accomplishment and Creative Center
I have accomplished a lot in my life in the last couple of months. The accomplishment has been a big career change, but has nothing to do with art or creativity. However, whenever I go through life changes, I need art more than ever. Doing art and being involved with people who are creative helpsContinueContinue reading “Accomplishment and Creative Center”
Random Acts of Art
I have had a very busy year so far. But I have had a few minutes here and there to rush through some unfinished projects and conduct random acts of art. My favorite random act to come out of this year was this wall clock pictured here. I put it together in half an hourContinueContinue reading “Random Acts of Art”
